Announcement: Annual Meeting and Lunch at West Houston Airport, KIWS

Woody Lesikar has an amazing deal for SWBS members that attend our annual meeting.

Due to the higher fuel prices, the airport will be discounting the fuel prices by $2.00 for those topping off and attending your meeting. This is full service including windshield cleaned if needed. This hopefully will help to get some pilots to attend. Of course, no other charges for parking or airport security.

It is that time of year again, well almost.  SWBS Annual meeting will be on April 11, 2026.  It is typically in May, but we have a great event coming in May, so we needed to move the annual meeting up one month.  The May event is one you won’t want to miss!

Here is what we have planned:

Join us April 11, 2026, for the SWBS Lunch and Annual Meeting at West Houston Airport (KIWS).  Airport owner Woody Lesikar has once again, graciously offered to let us use the upstairs space in the FBO.

Tentative schedule:

11 am - arrive to visit with members

11:30 am - lunch

12:15 pm – Speaker Pat Brown, topic – MOSAIC RULES

12:50 pm - Annual meeting begins

Door prizes after the meeting

As always, we are looking for volunteers for serving on the board and helping with events.
