Hot Springs, AR April 8 – 10, 2022
We have a fun weekend planned in Hot Springs, Arkansas. We are NOT having a block of rooms due to Embassy Suites policy leaving SWBS liable for cancellations. We are asking everyone to make their own. 35 members have already made reservations as suggested in December and again, in early January. Transportation provided by SWBS will be based at the Embassy Suites. If you choose to stay at a different hotel you will need to make your own arrangements to get to/from the transportation base at the Embassy Suites. We must limit the number of people attending to 41 due to restaurant seating constraints. 6 spots are available to members who have not pre-registered. Please note that with the rise in price of transportation we will have a $25 per person registration fee.

Single engine - 10 gal. min or $10 ramp fee. $3 per night tie down fee.
Twin engine - 20 gal. min or $30 ramp fee. $10 per night tie down fee.
No hangar space available but plenty of ramp space.

4:00 p.m. Check in available at
Embassy Suites (call the morning of reservation to request early check in)
5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Meet for Evening Reception
Guests may enjoy munching on light snacks and beverages during our complimentary happy hour. Cocktails are also complimentary during this time.
6:35 p.m. Walk or ride to restaurant. ½ mile from the
Embassy Suites.
7:00 p.m. Brick House Grill, American Restaurant. Order off the menu and pay individually.
Saturday April 9, 2022
6:30 a.m. – 9:00 - Free made to order breakfast for guests of the Embassy Suites.
9:45 a.m. – Meet in lobby to drive to
Garvan Woodland Gardens, $15, entry. Golf cart tours are available, 4 per golf cart. Price for entry and golf cart tour is $15.
12:00 p.m. – Pick up lunch at
Chipmunk Café. $15.50 each. Boxed lunch includes sandwich, chips, cookie tea or lemonade. Please make your selection. THIS MUST BE PRE-ORDERED.

2:00 p.m. Meet in front of the Garden entrance to head back to the hotel.
5:30 p.m. – 6:10 p.m. Meet for Evening Reception

9 a.m. Start trips to return to the airport for departure.
