John Whitehead is once again our host for this year's SWBS event at Grand Lake, OK.  Those who went a couple years ago remember what a good time it was.  This year's event has special considerations what with various concerns raised by COVID-19.

Here's what we know so far that has a bearing on our ability to schedule a multi-day event:

• Grand Lake event attendance is limited to 30 people.  Survey respondents will have event ticket priority on a first come, first served basis if it turns out the event is over-subscribed.
• The yacht we all enjoyed so thoroughly is willing to offer a COVID-19 cancellation clause: the yacht deposit is only refundable if it is COVID-19 related, but not if we cancel for lack of sign ups.  The yacht rental is $1000, or about $33 per person if the event maximum of 30 people attend.
  
• We have arrangements for a driver and car for transportation to/from the airport.
• The cabins have been booked all summer, so the resort has been busy and folks have been traveling.  SWBS will need to confirm cabin reservations for the event weekend no later than September 1.  The cabins are $135 per room or $270 per cabin per night.
• More detailed costs for other items such as the box lunch on the yacht will be provided when the actual event registration is opened.
