SWBS Fly-In KTYR – Tyler Pounds Regional Airport June 8, 2019 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Location and Schedule This event was originally planned for Covey Trails and the location was changed due to a partial runway closure to accommodate turf runway maintenance. The fly-in will be hosted by Nancy and Rich Faust at the Tyler Pounds Regional Airport (KTYR), from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. CDT on Saturday, June 8, 2019. Lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m. Tyler is a towered airport with three paved runways and 9 different instrument approaches. The airport is also the home of the Historic Aviation Memorial Museum.

Aircraft Parking and Fuel Park in front of the old tower where someone will escort you to the restaurant. Conversations with the two FBO's are in progress to see if a fuel discount can be arranged.
Skyline Café Lunch will be on the airport grounds at the Skyline Café, so no ground transportation will be required for day trippers. Here’s a link to their lunch menu. Members will be responsible for the cost of their own lunches, except that our desserts will be courtesy of the SWBS board.
Registration Please register on the Southwest Bonanza Society web site no later than June 5, 2019 so we may provide the Skyline Café with an idea of how many tables to set up for us.
Door Prizes This is the first time the club is using its new web site to register for an event. To encourage adoption, the door prizes below will be awarded to registered attendees. You must be a member of the Southwest Bonanza Society, and you must be present to win. Each member of an "individual plus companion" membership bundle must register for both to receive a ticket for the door prize drawings.
Museum Admission The cost to visit the aviation museum is normally $6 per person, but that is reduced to $4 per person since we'll have more than 10 people.
